Boston Life Sciences, Inc (NASDAQ: BLSI) is a biotechnology company engaged in the research and development of biopharmaceutical products for the diagnosis and treatment of Central Nervous System disorders. Our energy and focus in this area is reflected in several important initiatives. Our lead program in molecular imaging now has a candidate in Phase III clinical trials. ALTROPANE® molecular imaging agent is a diagnostic tool intended to aid in differentiating Parkinsonian tremors from non-Parkinsonian or Essential Tremor. ALTROPANE is also being assessed in Phase II trials for diagnosing ADHD. Our lead program in Nerve Repair, Cethrin®, is in Phase I/IIa trials. Cethrin is designed to promote nerve repair after acute spinal cord injury and has reported positive interim results in the Phase I/IIa trial. Boston Life Sciences' maintains a solid scientific position in the field of nerve or axon regeneration. Our sponsored scientific research with Children’s Hospital Boston in this ground-breaking technology may someday make possible additional therapies leading to functional recovery following stroke, spinal cord and ocular injuries. Finally, a preclinical program in Parkinson's Disease looks to provide a therapeutic solution to symptom management as well as a disease modifying treatment.
